Fear is only found in shadows
Death is but a stepping stone
Towards a journey destined long ago
One never travels through alone

There are angels waiting patiently
To greet this long lost friend
Death is but a new beginning
Into an eternity that does not end

Let the light of everlasting love
Remove the shadows caused by fear
Borrow clarity from up above
Allow Love's strength be ever near

Make each moment spent in waiting
Be more precious than the last
Make beautiful memories you will treasure
Once this painful time has passed

Allow the tears of soon farewells
Flow with ease and flow with grace
Gather close those you hold dear
Who will remain to fill the space

There is peace inside to access
Love's strength beckons you within
Death is but a stepping stone
Another journey must begin

So gently hold the hand that needs you
Until that need does not exist
Then bravely let it go with faith
God will be there to assist
