Abortion.
Let's talk about abortion in exchange for a penis.
A person's body is his or her own. No one has the right to govern what a person does with it as long as his or her actions do not harm anyone else in society. That means that the government, late-middle-aged male activists, and even husbands and wives have no right to determine what a person does to someone else's body.
A person is an individual.
If a man wants to develop a beer belly and a horrendously obese body, then that is his right. If a woman wants to reject a fetus because she prefers not to devote her life to raising a child, then that is her right.
Of course, there are repercussions in society. If the wife of the obese male prefers to leave him, then that is also her prerogative. If the husband of the wife who prefers not to be encumbered by a child leaves her, then that is also his prerogative (as long as his parental duties are translated into support payments.) However, it is not the right of a woman to make her husband undergo treatment to cure his obesity or to force him into a compulsory exercise regime just as it is not a man's right to force his wife to go through labor and to raise a child for the next thirty years.
Moreover, it is certainly not the right of any other outside unaffected group to force either the obese and addictive male to slim or the woman to carry a fetus to full term.
It might be different if either party did anything that affected society in general.
Why is it then that the most violent and convinced persons who want to save an unwanted fetus are middle-aged male failures? I suspect that they are simply frustrated males who cannot form a real relationship with a woman. However, my wife doesn't question their motives. She would simply do what they wanted, if they agreed to amputate their penis of course after the amputation had been accomplished. Then she would be able to judge whether they were serious or whether they simply wanted to have their fun in persecuting other people over whom they had no rights.
If that were the contract I don't believe any woman would be in danger from these mad people. They may have ineffectual penises but they wouldn't want to lose them. The gunman who killed doctors performing abortions was more interested in killing than saving fetuses. His penalty should have been the excision of his penis rather than simple jail term.
Thus, one should view these active anti-abortionists with great skepticism. Abortion is not their problem insanity is their problem.
