Your smile, your face, and warming embrace
leaves me speechless and in awe.
Your give so much but take so little
Give me life yet leave me breathless, taken back by your true beauty.
Expect so much but get so little
Big dreams and even bigger nightmares, but you push on and persevere by holding tight to things so fragile but not near.
Your eyes are screaming but your mouth says nothing
Holding on and holding back,
back and forth to and fro
Sleepless nights and sleepless days
Wandering in a mindless state
Given clarity and wisdom
Forge ahead and save your souls
Spreading truth with power
Comb every inch and search every edge to find true purpose
Look but see
Read but understand
Talk but listen
