Poetry: Broken & lost

by Shawna Sutherland

Created on: October 26, 2008

So much to give

but so little to live for,

they tell me I am special and important

but so easily ignored.

Take a knife or a pistol it doesn't matter

for this life is worth nothing not even the spatter

Screaming louder and louder

but silenced with a gag

So no one wants to listen only want to stray.

I like you, I love you...this means nada

just mere words that are empty and hollow

This heart has already stopped beating

pronounced dead on arrival.

Don't bother to revive. A broken heart will never survive.
