The cry went out upon the world, the warning it was sounded.
Ignored by those in power, as the people all were rounded
Drenched by words of power; spoken calmly without merit.
By a man they called their leader, and the earth he would inherit.
Blindly they all followed, being led by their own greed.
Filling them with empty words, he gave them what they need.
For those who heard the warning, they tried to stop abomination,
Crying out to those who'd listen, to save the falling of a nation.
Still no one heeded to the words; they believed in his agenda.
As he gathered all their souls, they all so willingly surrender.
He bought false hopes and promises, just too many to be real.
Caught up in his charisma, they were blinded to his deal.
He gathered up the souls he won, and filled them with delusion,
Waiting for the judgment day he smiled...pleased at his illusion.
Still there were the others, who whispered prayers into the night,
To save them from an influence they knew just wasn't right.
The cry went out upon the world, the warning it was sounded,
As God rounded up His people now, before the earth was pounded.

The Terror Balloons
The thing that once was a man,
Lay shattered, head smashed in.

prognosticating like sad
modern day Nostradamuses.
by Kristen Day
Life is still and monotone,
silent, heavy, dull as stone.
A tremor in her heart breaks free,
now who's she supposed to be?
"Phoenix Dies"
The world spins on its axis, torn
By man's recurring strife.
Hard lessons paid with blood are scorned
by Robyn Kindoc
Of Predators and Prey
The desolate land that seems all around blights both the dove and the lark.
It beguiles all the sad
