Late night thoughts
can boggle the mind
causing it not to rest,
but race...down the track of despair....
or....late night thoughts
can be passionately pleasant
as I stroke your hair
and hold you beside me.
Late night thoughts
in the room where we sleep
should be left alone...
as a santuary of connection,
with pleasantries passing to each other,
only to rest solidly, after that
connection is made!
Late night thoughts....
should be none other...than
"pleasant dreams"!
