Tools, almost everything we do today requires the use of one kind of tool or another. Choosing the correct tool for the job at hand can make the difference between success and failure. Whether you're looking for power tools, air tools, hand tools, or automotive tools, you have many Brands and many types to choose from. Some Brands tend to be specialized such as that Snap-On, or Mac, which both are well known Brands of automotive tools. To a large degree, when it comes to tools you get what you pay for. The specialized brand names are generally more expensive and likewise tend to be of higher quality. The benefit of the better known brand names in automotive hand tools is that they offer lifetime warrantys.

The best place to find tools that will last many years are at Home Centers, Sears, and brand name specific outlets such as auto parts stores that may carry Milwaukee tools or hardware stores that may carry De Walt, or other commercially rated power tools.
Common Brands found at Wal-Mart, Target, or Kmart such as Black & Decker are generally aimed at the homeowner who only occasionally uses them. If you're a professional using your tools day in and day out you need only the best that will continue to provide faithful service for a lifetime.
When chosing that one brand that will address the largest portion of tools that might be needed for everything from gardening to woodworking and automotive repair, it would be Sears Craftsman brand. They have the best selection of tools that cover the widest variety of occupations or hobbies then any other brand name. They offer as good a warranty as any other manufacturer and they are always price competitive. One stop shopping will save you time and money, Sears is the store for you. Not only do they carry their own Craftsman brand, but they also carry many of the other nationaly recognized brands.
