And where was Dionysus
when I needed him most
and his flowing wine
and women to wet
my lips.
These old gods seem
to fail me
and Apollo will not
greet me with
the light of morning.
I need a message
from Nietzsche
of tragedies death
when the clock on the wall
strikes four.
"One more whiskey please"
