THE WIND AS IT WHISPERED

One wish, one night

One desire,

to sleep by the side

Of the one whose name she knew

Strange emotion, magic night

a tale not of love

but obscession

Destiny's revenge on innocence

The wind as it whispered

Held no objections

Her pure heart

Could not perceive

the danger and deception

in the web being weaved

And so she sings

Through fire and through rain

No one asked me, I just came

Blinded by a light so strong

I knew I'd get to you, right or wrong

Through the darkness, through the light

Nothing could keep me away in the night

Through passion and into the flame

I could hear the wind whisper

and it whispered your name

I should've never turned around

Second guessing my devotion

out of control, endless dreams

You were to me, perfection

then the pleasure turned to pain

The fire turned to ashes

One night of thunder and rain

Turned All of heaven turned to hell

I have to wonder

Was it all in vain

Or did you hear

The wind as it whispered

And did it whisper my name?
