Poetry: Fury

by Sharon Sphinx

Created on: October 26, 2008

There are days remembered as unending night

Darkness, silence screaming, lava bubbling in the eyes

Threatening to erupt, destroy, and erase

The end of days, final judgement, holocaust within

Fury.

The sorrows come as a great army

to destroy false securities

To burn, rape, and desecrate forever

The paradise heart.

Ruin.

Wounded minds

are all that survives.

Defeated.

Fury is the sister of chaos

Chaos brings the end

and from the same chaos

must we start again.
