AN INTERNAL AFFAIR
Never a day goes by that I don't think of you my dear.
Your name is still around with hundreds in cyber space.
It hasn't been that long, almost eight months to the year.
You came to say goodbye in spirit and adoring face.
Words of wisdom and an eccentric sort of charm.
Helping me find a side of me so hidden deep within.
Our friendship lingering, our thoughts could never harm.
Nights filled with laughter, a kind of devilish sin.
It brought a sense of peace to know you existed there.
Our worlds could not be closer, our lives forever free.
Ironically it found us, a book, a poem of one so rare.
A first hello, a last goodnight, an angel you came to be.
Forever in my heart, your life, your wisdom, your words.
A brief moment in time, as we searched for a treasure.
From a common bond to the early morning songbird.
An enduring lust, a friendship never again will measure.

unbridled passion tamed by crashing waves

Not Alone.
You found me when I thought all was lost
When I no longer looked for love
When I felt cold, resigned, alone.
You
