Once you've ascertained the university that you're interested in is a respected and accredited institution, then you can begin thinking about the 'best value' for your time, study of interest and money. I live in England so when I logged onto Google and typed the words "Online Universities" the top 10 results included everything from the University of Liverpool to Oxford University! The list is included at the bottom of this article. Studying for your degree or qualification online enables you to do your coursework when it's convenient for you to do so. The requirements to successfully complete your course of study are clear and easy to follow, and in the time that you would normally spend getting to and from the school campus, you could be actually working and studying. So if you're in a hurry
Earning a degree online, which is also known as distance learning, enables the university to enrol a number of students that would otherwise be unable to attend classes because of their work schedule, geographical location or other comitments that would make physically arriving at a campus, parking, walking to and from classes... at a specific time every week in impossible hurdle to successfully reaching the goal of taking higher education classes.
The best value for you may be finding a legitimate school that will grant you a degree or qualification as quickly as possible by granting the maximum possible credit for previous coursework and/or work experience if applicable. There is an old saying that 'Time is Money' and you may be losing money by not having the right qualifications to do the job that you really want to be doing.
The best value for you may earning a degree of other qualification from a specific university that is 1/2 way around the world from your home. Imagine someone in Mississippi attending Oxford University or the Open University without ever leaving the States. Distance learning opens borders for students around the world. Yes, there are usually optional tutorial sessions with your instructor, but in most cases these are online in a 'live' chat room format. Your study materials are mainly included in your tuition and you can either post your assignments by mail or via the university website.
The best value for you may be the opportunity to earn a specific qualification in order to advance in your current career. For instance, if you work in a childcare centre, you may want to earn enough Early Childhood Education credits to become a lead teacher, a director
