The perfect world

I am awoken by gunshots. I hear explosions in the night. We jerk awake waiting and waiting. A bomb can explode anytime, anywhere. We run for shelter and we dive for cover hoping for our life to last. Soldiers gone off to war know that it would end up as an empty battlefield. Why shall we let this continue? Let us shake hand, nod our heads in agreement. Let's learn to share instead of being selfish. We know what we should do and yet we don't do it. Greed is the answer; all we want is money and power and forget all around us. Let us remember and do better in the future. The past remains unchangeable but anything can happen in the future. Let us think but not suffer for what did to us but know what we did. Yet we litter but we don't know to pick it up. We waste but we don't know to conserve. When do we put ourselves as litterers while none picks any up? We see the environment as a place where we all want to be but caring for it seems like a joke. Yet none find it funny. Since our human population grows at an incredible amount, shouldn't we care for our environment? Think of the future? Will we have any left? What will we have left? You and I all run in the park, play on the grass but why don't we understand to throw our garbage in the garbage bins. They have it for community use and yet we don't use it. Why? We can't explain but still we do it. A coke can wouldn't hurt anybody but it might be for the life of a squirrel.

Still we know that it is wrong but why do we still do it? What good does it do? Some think that where ever they go, the ground is a garbage can. Oh yah, in like about say one million years, my water bottle would be composted. If we don't act now, our future may be gone. Will you expect that we will be living in the same condition now? We will be living in the skies of grey. Since the human population is increasing, our house would be a small bedroom size.

If we continue on like this, what will we expect in the future? All we ever care about is greed and ourselves. What will we be like in the future? No one will trust one another, there will be a lot more disagreements. We fight among ourselves, but no one says "let's stop and talk."

If there was no war, no arguments, this world would be a much better place. We would hear "Let's do that" or "Nice idea". We are not there yet, but we can be. Little by little we can pull ourselves together and work this all out. Do we want the world to be full of insults? No one would agree, but arguing seems the way to solve a problem. To tell you the truth, arguing will never solve a problem. In war, both sides all end up winning. You fight to win, but you know that it will always end up as a tie. Nobody wins but nobody admit loss.
