TV network reviews: USA Network

USA is one of the best networks out there to get the programing you just can't help but to crave. Monk and Psych are two of the network's best shows that just keep you laughing all the way through.

Monk, played by Tony Shalhoub, is TV's very strange crime solving detective. He hates germs with a passion, and he loves to solve crimes. He is also afraid of needles, heights, closed spaces, milk, and everything else you can think of under the sun. Usually crime scenes are very dirty so he tries his best to over come his deepest fears while solving well thought out crimes that were plotted by very smart murderers. Tagging along is his beautiful assistant Natalie, aiding him as best she can under his unusual circumstances. His sidekicks are stern yet trusting Captain Stottlemeyer and stupidly funny Lieutenant Disher. While these crimes are taking place Monk is getting closer and closer to finally finding his wife Trudy's killer, his only unsolved crime.

Some good episode titles are: "Mr. Monk Goes To Jail", "Mr. Monk Takes His Medicine", "Mr. Monk and the Kid", "Mr. Monk and the Actor", and "Mr. Monk Gets Drunk"

Psych is another of USA's television detective shows. Shawn Spencer, played by the very handsome actor James Roday, is a great crime solver, but everyone else believes that he's actually a psychic. His long time best friend Gus (Burton Guster) is always skeptical, but Shawn drags him along for the ride throughout the series so far. Jules and "Lassie" (as Shawn calls him to annoy him) are other police officers that work with Shawn. He points out the clues, in a very psychic manner, and they follow up on it always reporting to the Cheif, a very fiery woman that runs the department they all work at. Shawn always solves the crimes, cracks jokes, seizures on the floor like an idiot while pretending to have visions, and maybe has time to argue with his retired police officer father by the end of the show. Perhaps Juliette (Jules) will finally give in to Shawn's attempts at getting a date with her too. This show is laugh filled from the very beginning to end.

Some good episode titles are: "Talk Derby To Me", "Disco Didn't Die. It Was Murdered!", "Gus Walks Into A Bank", "Poker? I Barely Know Her", "Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead", and "If You're So Smart, Then Why Are You Dead?"

If you haven't gotten around to watching these shows yet they are a great way to spend some extra time and it's even funnier to watch if you have someone to laugh with. Thanks for reading my USA Network show review.
