I know I have.
Hurring down the stairs
in a frantic speed,
hoping for a sigh of
RELIEF...
a sign of hope
of
life beyond this
I've left...
I know have.
Thrusting the bags,
shoving and making room,
"Anywhere but here!"
He sped.
I've left...
I thought I did...
as I sit here
with an empty bag
