Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is the number one book for anyone looking to not be comfortable, but to create wealth. Like most middle class children, I begun my adulthood in a fiscal mess. I overused my credit cards, took out cash advances, and overdrew my bank accounts. I had no clue what a budget was and I certainly did not look forward to keeping it.
But as i got older, I begun to study finance. I've read Kiyoski, Bach, Orman, and a host of other "wealth experts". However, no one has gotten closer to teaching the fundamentals of getting rich like T. Harv Eker. His book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, consists of simple, but life-changing declarations and one to two day action plans that lead to momentous change.
What makes Secrets of the Millionaire Mind better than all other financial books is that it revolves around changing your thoughts about money. We all know that the poor and middle class think differently from the rich. But even more so is that while we might believe we want to be rich, our subconscious thoughts might still be holding us back. So even if our mouths are speaking of wealth and wanting to get rich, internally, we might be thinking the exact opposite.
Just think of all the financial conferences and seminars you might have visited. Imagine how many conferences you've gone to where everyone in the room gets the same information, but somehow only a few people can take that information and fly with it. Only a few people get successful. Why? Is it because these few people are smarter than everyone else? Did something impactful happen to them, but not to everyone else?
According to T. Harve Eker, the answer is "no". In fact, the reason for our success or lack thereof stems from our internal programming. We are the only obstacle getting in the way of our wealth. We all have a wealth reservoir which expands according to our thoughts around money. If we are not rich, it is because of our own mental programming. No matter how much financial knowledge we acquire, we will still be poor until we change our personal thoughts around money. Some of these thoughts may come from listening to our parents speaking about money or observing their financial habits. Now as adults, we have emulated that which we have learned. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind helps you to discover these thought patterns.
Even more remarkable is that he not only uses Secrets of the Millionaire mind to not only help you discover your internal thoughts regarding money, but to also teach you how to reprogram your mind so you can inherit the knowledge and habits of the rich. I can personally attest to the fact that after adopting the techniques from the millionaire mind, I am well on my way to financial freedom and success.
His book is highly recommended.
