In order for the government to regain the trust of the American public, which is essential in this country. The time for closed door politics is over! In every single situation that affects the citizens of this country, except National Security. Political transparency is no longer an option. It has to be the guideline enforced by the American public, to make the politician's accountable for their own action's ! For far too long the politician's have been able to set they're own agenda's. Without the public knowing who is responsible for laws being passed that affect their everyday live's.

As far as my own personal opinion. The lack of governmental transparency is the root and cause of the current state of our economy. If every single congressman or woman was required to state for the record in a public forum. The validity of their position's on any and all bills which come to the floor of the Senate. Then and only then will the government be able to regain the trust of the American public. Because without the trust of the citizens of this country, we, as a nation, will fail to be the lamp of freedom that burns so brightly across this world!

I firmly believe that I'm speaking for the citizen's of the United States. We've grown weary of the partisian politic's of our nation. The constant bickering back and forth between our political parties, does nothing other than weaken our nation, as well as our people as a whole. America has always carried the torch of freedom and goodwill across the globe, for the last two hundred years. If we do not demand that our politician's state their position's on every single issue, for the public to see. We will lose the right to call ourselves a democracy, and the Greatest Nation on Earth!

It's time for the people of our great nation to not ASK for the politician's to be held accountable for their action's. It's time that we demand it! I believe that it's the right of every American to have full knowledge of where their elected officials stand on the issue's that directly affect our everday live's! In all honesty, this should be a non-issue. But the simple fact is, American's have grown complacent, and are only now beginning to see what can happen if we don't demand that our elected official's be held accountable, just as we are!

So. In conclusion of this article. It is my belief that any and all politician's that rose to their place of office by the vote of the American Voter. Has to be required to make their position totally clear and transparent, to the public as a whole!
