Doe hunting, for the uneducated (in this field), is already legal and has been for quite sometime now.

Upon looking at this question, many (non-sportsmen, animal rights activists, etc.) see the question as the killing of small helpless animals, just as they do in any hunting-related stories/articles. What they DO NOT see is the wide-spread disease, suffering, and grotesque situation it would put us (and wildlife) in if we did not hunt. This (hunting) is called conservation. Yes, hunting is a sport. Hunting is also a serious conservation of animals/wildlife and the environment. Not to categorize or anything, but most I've talked to that are against the sport in itself- live in the comfort of their own homes, with plenty of food, no threat of disease, and don't venture out of their large cities or towns to see the real picture. Many, that fight for the "poor helpless animals" are far away from the habitat of any kind of wildlife (besides pigeons and such). Most -mind you I say "most"- seem to place hunting in there with the Disney story of Bambi, the Lion King, and so on (Note: I am a huge Disney fan, as I have children myself!). These stories are not accurate or realistic. Pure fantasy.

I don't like to see any living thing "suffer". I'm human. I have feelings. My feelings don't change, even when 16' in the air in my deer stand. I can't speak for all sportsmen out there, but the majority of us are not out there to wound an animal to watch it suffer, or to satisfy this so-called "enjoyment for pain" that man supposedly has (-in some people's eyes). Most of us are not killing "helpless animals" for the sake of the kill. Yes, we're hunting, but there are rules and restrictions in the hunt to protect the conservation of the species itself. We are not savage barbarians taking mass killings of any and all animals in our path. I, myself, hunt for many many different reasons. I enjoy the sport. I enjoy learning, and teaching my own children the importance of nature, and the environment. -I feel that I am passing on a very important lesson to my own kids, as they will one day take over this land/acreage of mine when I am long gone. Land and wildlife conservation is important to me, as it should be to everyone on the surface of this Earth. Yes, I am a meat-eater and enjoy wild game. I enjoy the sport. I enjoy this sport even if I've gone days without seeing a thing. I enjoy being out there, on my land, in nature. If deer/doe (or any game for that matter) were to become illegal
