Are doctors motivated by high pay or healing patients?

Living in Canada so far covered by ohip as a Canadian citizen, I do not pay for medical care. Everyone is covered by ohip. Doctors and other medical professionals are paid through that...

There are certain things that are no longer covered through ohip certain services are no longer covered. At that point if you can't afford it, the doctor could recommend you for assistance. With certain medications or services needed.

However, I am aware of medical students and nurses unable to find work or should I say sufficient employment to be able to maintain fulltime positions

Some times, I hear about doctors and nurses taking other jobs outside of the field. At the hospitals, our young doctors and nurses receive training and then are motivated to live and work in the United States. In addition, other organizations such as Bay shore home health care And the Victorian order of nursing I have a feeling these organizations are replacing the visiting doctor and doing pretty much what family doctors used to do. Are it used to be easy to find a family Physician. In addition, that same family Physician with most likely the taking cares of the entire family. The doctors used to come to the house make a house call. The days this very unlikely to happen again. But I believe there are certain programs that are still in existence that provide services of a medical nature all you need is your ohip card and give your address and they would come and make the house call I'm not sure that the program still exists.

Up until his death I had a doctor that would come to my apartment that was about three years ago. I believe I have doctors they give me the impression that they care about my health more then how much they are paid. I have a story my mother was going into the hospital,

In addition, because I was prone to having seizures and my father my mother felt would not deal with it to well-being a child with physical problems at that time I don't remember if she mentioned his name but that doctor that my mother made an agreement to put me in hospital at the same time she was going in, any time someone official looking came by to the nurses were instructed to put something in my mouth and make it look like I needed to be there. The doctor could have lost his job and maybe his license to practice. To my mother and me I think he probably considered all other options and had compassion for my mother and myself... When my mother was discharged from the hospital, so was I released at the same time. I believe that doctors motivation was healing witch is the highest motivation anyone in the medical field should have that is part of the hypocritical oath every resident when they become doctors and must take the oath. There are doctors who will perform unnecessary procedures but that kind of behavior and actions are not exclusive to Physicians.

However, the Physicians action's negative or positive will affect their patients for the rest of their lives.

Therefore, as a doctor you make a choice to heal and not cause unnecessary pain.
