Poetry: Out of my mind

by Dean Jolly

Created on: October 24, 2008

I'm leaving now for insanity bay

That patch of land bewteen mind and matter

Can't wait to get there with each passing day

I'm just waiting for my mind to shatter

Got a one way ticket i'm there to stay

I need to get away for my own health

I was realy hoping to find my way

But to get there you have to lose yourself

I see a dark wolf at my windows edge

It is here to take me on my journey

So I step out on to the narrow ledge

If this fails i'll end up on a gurney

I am falling now I'm no longer bound

I must leave now before I hit the ground
