It would seem this issue comes down to socio-economic selfishness and yet the consequences far greater by not facilitating the transport of indigent students to more highly funded, more effective school districts. The detriment to society by not raising the standards of education for all school districts seems to be a very clear and moot issue, however, the potential to assist children in the gravely funded schools seems a more realistic and necessary goal in the United States as a whole. This includes funding for the transport, feeding and teaching of said students in realistically sized classroom settings in which they may benefit from maximal enrichment alongside the students who come from families within a higher economic bracket.

Though we certainly do not live in a Marxist-Socialist, or communist society; the limiting factors of the detriments to our continued success in the global context depend upon a cooperative system which, in the long run, will, in fact defend democracy and perpetuate higher quality education. The politics of this heated debate go far beyond the mores and folkways of capitalistic, domestic policy, which it would seem, justifiably defends the top five percent earners in this country. However,it should be noted that as we both neglect indigent school funding as well as, the transport of such students to schools with educational advantages, we increase the forces which influence both "learned helplessness", and "crime rate" under the heading of:"self fulfilling prophecy" and as such we positively reinforce the stereotypes of underpriviliged students and resulting progeny throughout susceptible demographics. This exponential decay, affect spreads to the very gates of the upper middle classes homes and private schools.

What this means is that as the educational system discourages quality education, say to minority, inner city youth, the crime rate will ironically go up, as the average earnings of U.S. citizens will go down. So, what we will witness is further economic degradation of the underclass and the victimization of the upper class by the opressed lower class.

Furthermore as education becomes of even lower quality in said school districts, the basic skills to manage families by drop outs and those barely graduating that the welfare system will be further taxed the dependents of the government. A sort of: "trickle up effect", and as such will greatly influence public policy in the future during both regional and national elections. The irony might well be,a paradigm shift to an entirely different political party dominating or atleast a philosophical change within the respective party which would be self defeating to the party that was opposed to transporting underepresented students to well unded schools. In the end it should be our conscience which leads us to promote proper education to all our youth nationwide and our economic future which is held in the balance.

The United States has a responsibility to its own citizens to promote equality and the pursuit of happiness through enabling them, regardless of economic status the opportinity to the best edication and training available even if it means being available outside of the immediate community indigent persons find themselves.
