Why we need educated voters

It is 2008, and our country is now 232 years old. Its citizens are under duress facing financial problems, terrorism, war, civil strife and discord. Our courts are out of control with judges legislating from the bench. Our congress, both house and senate, are out of touch and out of control. Focusing on pettiness and strife, they discount the real work of the people and seek headlines targeting the opposition party. They are concerned ultimately with keeping their positions and making people more dependent on the government to live their lives day-to-day. Every state governor, house member and assembly member is an employee of the public constituency that elected, and in effect, employs them. So then, why do we have so many problems with our employees? Moreover, why is the media so hell bent on protecting one party, while being just as bent on destroying the second. We the people should be demanding answers.

The citizens of our founding were much hardier and demanding folk. Discord was not foreign to them, but they demanded results too their satisfaction, while trusting that those
