To me, this is just a silly question. "Should a bisexual person be considered homosexual?" What? Bi and Homo have very simple definitions. You can't be both or just one if you have sex with people of both sexes. A bisexual has sex with women and men. A homosexual has sex only with the same sex. Who thought of this question? You might as well ask, "Is someone who is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, really only speak English?" Or may be we should call someone who is ambidextrious a right hander?
I have met women and men who say their are homosexual, but they have children. Every time I say, "Wrong!" You can't be gay and have a biological child". Even if you now only have sex with with people of the same gender, to have this child, you had to have sex with a member of the opposite sex. Therefore, you have had sex with a man and a woman. Doesn't matter that you now choose to have sex only with the same gender as you, you are a bisexual by definition.
My other thought on this topic is, "Who cares?" Why does it matter if someone is heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual? Why does anyone else care how someone else lives their life? I, myself, am a heterosexual male. I have not, not have ever thought of having sex with another man. Does that make me better than the gay man that lives next door to me? I have a manager who is a lesbian and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. My older sister is bisexual. So what? Why does it matter to anyone? Let people be who they are.
Really, why does it matter to anyone who their neighbors are having sex with? It doesn't concern you. We should all agree that it isn't easy to find someone to share your life with. When someone does find someone they are compatable with, good for them. Doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman. If they make you happy, go with it. Better than being miserable with someone of the opposite sex.
And for those of you who want to argue this topic with religion, remember this; God spared Lot when he destroyed Sodom because of the homosexuals. Lot then spent two nights getting drunk and having sex with his daughters, getting them pregnant. Hmmm, kill the gay/bisexuals, but let the man who screws his daughters live. Does that sound rational to anyone? May be it's just me, but if I had to chose between my 3 sons having sex with men or their daughters, yea, not a hard decision.
People are who they are. Let them be who they are. Who they are and what they do in their private life doesn't affect you, so why let it bother you?
