Who's the best 2008 candidate for promoting energy independence?

Created on: October 24, 2008

There is a good question and the answer is; not Obama, not Biden , not McCain. Wait there is one of the four that has tried to get legislation past to make the nation energy independent and that is Sarah Palin, None other that the V.P. pick of John McCain.

But instead of listening to what she had to say the news media and the Democrat Party have tried to bash her and destroy her name and her reputation.

She stood with a 80% approval rating from the people of Alaska but has since slipped to a 75% approval rating but who cares after all the only one that is getting destroyed is a small town woman that has been Councilwoman, Major, and Governor of the state of Alaska.

She is the only one out of the four that has gone after the oil companies and the good ole boy syndrome but also corruption in her own party there in Alaska.

If she talks about energy Independence the media would have called her stupid and the Democrat Party would have done the same thing. They would have also spun her story around to where the things she would have said wouldn't mean a thing because they like to distort the truth. Just so they can get their candidate elected. They have put out lies for the last sixty or so years. yet

I know this is reading like an add for Sarah Palin but when a person whom has talked the talk and also walked the walk is the one that I would much rather have for the President of the United States.

I don't want some one office that all he can say is "I'm for change."

When someone would ask him what change he is talking about they get back , "I'm for change."

I figured that the only change he is for is the change he will leave in my pocket after he gets elected.

The way to energy independence is to build more refineries and drill in every state that has oil from Alaska to Florida and From California to Maine and off all three coasts we must drill. Then one must create incentives to go for alternative fuels by lowering taxes on not only the oil companies but every citizen that comes up with an alturnitive fuel. So far Sarah has done just that .

The rest of the candidates have all talk a greate deal but they have not done a thing to try to bring energy independance. Obama and Biden have both said that the way to achieve energy independance is to raise taxes . There area few that are in the Democrat party that have said that the Government needs to take over the oil companies. ( How does that create new energy resourses?)
