I feel a certain feeling
shifting through my bones
a sort of chilly sensastion
because i'm all alone
if I could take back the years
that i let slip by
perhaps i could eliminate
the reasons why I cry
I mourn
and inside I'm torn
because he doesn't see me
he looks right through
and if I could
i would bring about a new truth
a truth that leaves him hurting
bleeding with unimaginable pain
as i sit here unscathed
but i can't take it back
and i can't change his mind
but if i could
the victory would be mine
