To regulate, or to regulate not?

That is the question that I am asking myself right now. Like me there are millions in this country asking the same question.

Since we lost our house, we moved into an apartment building downtown. Moving out of the suburbs was a blessing in disguise, and in spite of the fact that we were forced to do it, and it had an ugly tone to it, the experience is turned out well.

But, living downtown, in an apartment building has its kinks also...

I hate to see government getting into my life and dictating me as an individual what to do, however there are times when I as an individual need somebody to keep me honest.

Case in point.

The building is located right in the middle of downtown, in an area which is always populated due to the points of attraction around it. It is in walking distance from all major points of interest and the grocery stores are not too far away, although driving is required. No, the charge was not for the use of the elevator, the charge was for the elevator operator. You see, the insurance was written in such a way that only the staff of the building could operate it... I found out later though, that the charge was not too much of a problem after all because being out of service due to some missing parts, it could not be used at all... I was told that the parts will arrive in a couple of
