Poetry: Courage

by Michael Janiec

Created on: October 23, 2008   Last Updated: November 03, 2008

Centuries told between these thick castle walls

Epic saga's unfold from fathers to sons
From sunrise till' dawn
Until the battle is won

Enemies and fiends they confront
Fighting for land, honour and pride
For their family name they come forth
To defend their bloodline and for all it's worth

Remember our names they could have said

Because our only fear is to be forgotten
When we faced death
