Tap Into All Of This
Why don't you let yourself breathe?
Let some of that steam out of your angry heart
At the surface, everything looks good,
But from your eyes pours heaviness too hard
Breaks my soul to see you so dark
Let some of that go, that crazy tight grip
In your bones, everything gets jammed
Open yourself, let the old dam slip
There's a river that flows deep within you
Cool, blue and effortless
There's a rainbow that glows down inside you
Beautiful and painless
There's an energy stronger than the sun
Powerful and endless
There's all this and more where it's from
Tap into all of this
Why don't you let yourself free?
Let some of the sorrow go on and release
No way to escape lower worlds like these
Too much denial can strengthen disease
Weighs heavy to walk in your shoes
Let go of that burden, that's slowing you down
In your condition, nothing feels right
So shake yourself loose and turn it around
There's a river that flows deep within you
Cool, blue and effortless
There's a rainbow that glows down inside you
Beautiful and painless
There's an energy stronger than the sun
Powerful and endless
There's all this and more where it's from
Tap into all of this
You can argue all you want
But nothing's gonna change
You can put up all your fight
Just be keeping all your pain
You can act like you don't hear me
You can waste another day
But the door is right in front
So get out of your own way cause
There's a river that flows deep within you
Cool, blue and effortless
There's a rainbow that glows down inside you
Beautiful and painless
There's an energy stronger than the sun
Powerful and endless
There's all this and more where it's from
Tap into all of this

Poetry: Rainbows
by Roy Blokker
Teardrops echo like rainbows
Through a canyon.
A thousand thousand tears
When storm clouds gather, and
the chilling rain pours down;
and even the tallest and the strongest trees
stand, battered.
When
by Linda Irish
Given Time
Ever notice looking through a tear,
Light reflects a rainbow?
At desperate times, wonder still exists,
The sign of
Rainbows and rivers
Never to meet
Clouds of frustration
Lovers so
sweet
Sunshine mirrored
Reflections erased
Winds caressing the
Rainbow,
Gazing into the heaven
I see only your face
Longing for your touch
Held in an embrace
Colourful enchantments
Gentle
