I Have Only Today
I have only today
To breathe fresh air
And feel the joy there
I have only today
To relish beautiful colors
Of sky or fields of flowers
I have only today
To treasure what we have
Together, on this path
I have only today
To savor precious time
And everything of mine
Life is in this moment
Love pours out from here
Even when it's over
Nothing's far, it's near
Life is in this moment
Love grows year to year
Even separation
Can't make that disappear
But I have only today
To realize this truth
And share it well with you
I have only today
To stand up strong and brave
To act upon my stage
I have only today
To discard my lesser self
And seize my inner wealth
I have only today
To find my joy within
And from this point begin
Life is in this moment
Love pours out from here
Even when it's over
Nothing's far, it's near
Life is in this moment
Love grows year to year
It's a declaration
Stated to be clear
Life is in this moment
Love pours out from here
Seize this with all your might
And overcome all fear.
Life is in this moment
Your strength and hope is here
The depths of your existence
Your priceless souvenir.

Poetry: Meaning of life
by Brian Benson
WHEN I WAS A LITTLE BOY.....I GREW UP FAST
When I was a little boy
We played from dawn til dark
Chasing baseballs hit aloft
In
The meaning of Life I ponder
How can good conquer evil? I often wonder
To make a difference I must
By showing of love and
your dragonfly
the beautiful nuisance
I dreamed myself to be
has stayed too long
passed waking
to be of worth to anyone
who resides
Life is a Mirrage
I hear your whispers
I feel your kisses
But it all seems like a dream
With every moment passing
And every secret
A questioned pondered by many, understood by a few
Our purpose, meaning, reason for being,
What were we created to do?
