Wow! OK, I can't believe I'm saying YES on this question. Is Sarah Palin qualified to be vice president of the United States? According to the United States Constitution she is. The only requirements to becoming vice president are as follows: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." Based on those criteria she is qualified.
Anyone meeting those eligibility requirements are qualified to be vice president. It doesn't matter if you're Joe Biden or Joe the Plumber. I know that we would all like our vice president to be well versed politically, but do we honestly want our country run by lifelong politicians? Is there a reason that some farmer in Iowa can't have brilliant ideas and a strong mind that can lead our once great nation back to greatness? I'm certain that the answer to both questions is NO.
Now don't get me wrong, I can't stand Sarah Palin. I think she lies somewhere between the Anti-Christ and Ann Coulter, however the question posted here is asking if she's qualified, not if she's a moral or ethical human being. I think that there are other questions that should be asked, such as:
"Do you think someone with no morals and a hateful heart should be vice president of the United States?"
"Do you think a person who shoots innocent animals from a helicopter should be vice president?"
"Do you think a person who steals from the state of Alaska to fund their children's leisure trips should be in office?"
"Do you think a person who would have a state trooper fired because of a personal disagreement should be your candidate?"
"SHOULD A PERSON WHO BANS BOOKS BE VICE PRESIDENT?" (Hello!, we're all writers here)
"Should a person who HATES gay people be vice president?"
"Should a person who hates ANYONE be vice president?"
"Shouldn't your vice president be able to put together a complete sentence?" You betcha they should, gosh darn also and such as and also so forth Maverick The Russians are coming and other so forth golly gee you know it Americans also you betcha.
...anyway. People, please make sure you vote on November 4th and make sure this person goes back to the trailer park where she belongs.
