His Spirit Lives On
His presence in our lives shaped who we are
He lead by example now we reach for the stars.
As children he kept us close under his wing
As we grew he slowly loosened the strings.
We are his legacy through our hearts he lives on
His loving heart and firm hand made us grow strong.
He left this earth when we were too young
His spirit lives on through his daughter and son.
Now all these years later with children of our own
We follow his lead as we watch our children grow.
We honor his memory by the lives that we lead
In hopes our spirit lives on through our young breed.
