my first signs of falling in love.

about a year ago now, i met this wonderful guy who made me realise life wasn't so bad after all. when we were just friends, anytime i saw him I'd get butterflies in the stomach-no joke. It really did feel like whenever i saw him all my troubles drifted far far away, it was amazing. i felt like i was on top of the world. He was Amazing. That was when i knew i had found love.

the first sign i had, was when i went home one evening and i started thinking. i thought about the future i could have with this guy, and all i could think was good things, i could see myself spending the rest of my life with him, i had never felt like this before. i couldn't get him out of my head, and to be perfectly honest it was rather annoying, but at the same time it was great.

a couple of weeks later, we started dating. We'd see each other on regular occasion, and each time i saw him, my feelings grew stronger and stronger, until i could take it no more. So one night when we were sitting talking, i turned round and said to him "i think im falling in love with you!", i thought he was going to panic or something, but instead he turned round to me and replied "i think i feel the same", when he said this i knew i was in love, i started crying with joy, it felt like a big weight had been lifted from my shoulders, it felt like everything finally made sense to me. i felt like jumping over the moon, and i couldn't actually believe my own ears. I felt sick with happiness, as strange as it sounds.

later that night when i returned home, i ended up crying myself to sleep, i felt like it couldnt be true, nothing this good had ever happened to me before, there had to be a catch - but there wasnt, it was true, i was in love. i couldnt stop thinking about him, he just kept walking round and round inside my head, and i kept going over the words in my head "i think i feel the same" "i think i feel the same", was it true? had that really happened or was i just in some really amazing dream? It was true! Speaking of dreams, before that night, i had had dreams of him, as sad as it sounds, i kept dreaming that i was in danger, and he always showed up to save me, he was always my knight in shining armor!

basically, my signs of falling in love was when i couldn't get him out of my head, and i started to realise that he made me smile constantly, every time i thought of him- i smiled, every time i received a text off of him-i smiled before I'd even opened the message-and i still do, thats how i know that its true love :). when i was having a bad day, all i needed to do was think of him and his amazing eyes, his amazing smile, his amazing person, and that was enough to make me smile :). and for once, i could go around and say that i was truly happy :).

thats how i knew i was in love, and i still am. we are still happy together, and more in love than ever before. it has been 9 months that we have been together :)
