Signs of someone falling in love

Someone walks into the room. Your heart beats a little faster. Your stomach is in knots. The rest of the room fades away while this person only comes more and more into focus. What gives? These are some of the signs that you just might be falling in love.

Yes, it's true. People who are falling in love look, act, and feel differently from you and I.

They look strangely rested and peaceful. They smile a lot and it's hard to tick them off. Finding love makes people feel more optimistic about the future and about their own lives. It is easy to spot someone who has recently fallen in love.

You will often find that people who are falling in love actually have a twinkle in their eye. That's because they are smiling all the time! Pregnant women glow but so does a person who is goo goo gaga in love with someone. Physically, finding love somehow makes you walk a little taller, your eyes are looking forward and not at the ground, and you've got a little pep in your step.

People who are falling in love are almost always touching in some way whether it's holding hands while walking, or touching shoulders while browsing in a book store. They typically only have eyes for one another and are quite oblivious to the world around them. They answer the phone when their honey calls with a smile on their face and a cheery "hello" or "hi, babe."

Almost always when a person is falling in love, he/she suddenly is available for any occasion. Friends get put on the back burner. Laundry and grocery shopping can wait until tomorrow or even next week. And work is not a top priority as it used to be. Come in on your day off? I don't think so!

Finding true love is never one-sided. If it is, then it really is just a one-sided obsession with another person. You know you have found love when it is truly mutual. There isn't one person always doing the calling or texting. Both of you make it clear that it is an exclusive relationship. Both of you are available to each other for support and encouragement. There are no games, no rules to follow, just raw, simple feelings of extreme happiness and joy and peace of mind.

Falling in love is a good thing. It is something we all desire and want. It makes the brain feel fizzy and tingly. Falling in love feels good. It feels right. There are no feelings of guilt or doubt. If we could float out of our bodies when we are in love, we would surely soar. If you can imagine your soul soaring through the skies when you close your eyes and think of that special person, then you, my friend, have found your love.
