Don't Bail out Wall Street! Bail out the Americans!
Voting for the bailout of Wall Street seemed to take a toll these past weeks. A toll most Americans shouldn't have to pay, but will. A NO vote by the HOUSE OF Reps, scared the country into a Stock Market crash. Thousands of people lost millions and millions of people lost thousands.
Was the market crash staged? Is it a ploy to cover misdoings? Was it a scare tactic for citizens and politicians alike? When our elected officials voted NO to bailing out the Wall Street greedy, the Market hit the dirt. It began to stabilize when the 2nd vote came through with yes. Hummmm
A better idea would have been, to give the AMERICAN TAXPAYER the money. Do you realize if the Goverment sent each taxpaying adult over 25, a ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND dollar check, the economy would be fixed. I'll bet it would help a lot more than giving Wall Street another 700billion, and cost a lot less. They say the major bailout isn't going to fix the problem, it's only a band aid to aid the rich. By aiding them, help may trickle down. Enough already.
By giving the money back to the American people it guarantees spending stays here in America. After all, most Americans fear traveling overseas so of course we will spend it here. With so many Americans in debt or going without, take my word for it, the money would be spent here. As we all know, spending creates jobs and lowers prices for the consumers.
Putting the money in the rightful hands insures home foreclosures and auto repossessions will be a misfortune of the past. Most banks will turn profits with new customer deposits and investments. Not to mention timely loan payments help make the economy run smooth. American's would be able to FILL heating oil tanks rather than getting a hundred gallons at a time. Lets crank the heat to 70, Mable.
Seems to me Americans would be happy. Businesses would be happy. I would be happy to get a HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars from Uncle Sam.. Imagine..
Shopping Centers and Restaurants would be filled to capacity. More kids would go to college, securing intelligent productivity for the future. Health care could finally exsist for those who have never seen a doctor and desperately need one. Both big business and small business would flourish. America would flourish.
The six hundred or so dollars was a cute rebate. However, it was a butterfly stitch on a thirty inch gash exposing guts. If you want a bailout to work > Bail out the American people not Wall Street! They proved themselves unworthy and unreliable when it comes to investing our money. They are messing with our 401K's. I don't want to bail them out. I want to be bailed out. Sending Americans the cash will cost only 10Billion compared to a 700Billion dollar bailout that may not help.
OK guys and girls in Washington, you hockey Mom's too, think about bailing out the RIGHT people. The ones who have had to live by the crap you Washington souls have dished out for centuries. Send the money to the people who know what to do with it. The ones who have WORKED for it. Let Americans jump start their own economy. Watch all those empty houses sell. See how many new cars roll off the lots. Give us regualr folks a chance to invest in stocks. Seems to me the solution is easy. Bail out the Americans. OK, a Hundred Thousand may be a tad too steep. How about 25,000? Imagine.....
