I never understood men that wanted to date a married woman, particularly single men because it is a recipe for disaster. Men are crazy about their wives, you can easily loose your life getting too comfortable with a married woman; stay out of their house! Literally and figuratively, it is a bad idea. But married women are out there and too many men get caught up in this type of dram.

You have to have a clear idea of what it is that you are getting yourself into. Married women are not entirely different from regular women in that they want what they aren't getting from another man in the relationship. If he isn't trying to be with her physically or sexually you may find yourself fulfilling that role. If he isn't romantic with her, and has sex with her but is playing house and isn't truly her friend, then that is the role you will end up fulfilling.

Ask yourself if it is really worth this drama because with a married woman it is something entirely different than it is dating a single woman. Someone not only wants a married woman, but made an honest woman out of her and pledged their life to her! Unlike with a single girl, who just has other boyfriends she hasn't necessarily told you about though she did tell you about the ones that she knew you were comfortable dealing with. A married woman has children, or may want children. She is only going to settle for cheap hotels and lousy dates but for so long, ask yourself how committed you are not only to making it work, but staying within those parameters.

Keep in mind that you may find yourself falling head over heels with your nose wide open really confused in a short amount of time. A married woman is not an amateur for your amusement but has a clear idea about what she wants, and how much of herself she is going to reveal to you, just as any married man that was out cheating would. Married women are extremely, almost unusually, easy to talk to.

Do not become one of these guys that have a tendency to want to pop up at odd times and make an appearance suggesting that there is something between you and his wife. In fact if it ever comes to that because you are tired of being in the shadows it is probably time to cut your losses and move on.

If you know her friends or were introduced to her through her friends it isn't a good idea at all. Who do you think the husband is going to get to or whom wants to tell the husband what is going on because they are angry at the married woman? If you really want this to work you may have to be entirely compartmentalized from the rest of her life. Yeah that's cold and unfeeling, but then again these are the choices that you have made for yourself, the bed you want to lay in.

Even still, it is best just to avoid dating the married woman, and if you can't just break off the friendship and everything and make a clean break. Dating a married woman can be fatal if things do not work out, and you're better off just finding someone who is unattached, or at least undecided about whom she wants to be attached to, and take it from there!
