You use your imagination all the time, it's natural. This is one of the best exercises for manifestation.
When you daydream you are also doing what comes naturally. Worry, hoping and wishing are other examples of creating physical realities.
Now, use what you know about using your imagination to BE in the place you are desiring rather than using you imagining power to create more problems.
Many people find it easy to begin working with the imagination and law of attraction by thinking of something in the past which you really enjoyed. Go back in your memory and feelings. Allow yourself to really be there, enjoying that moment again.
Now that you know how it feels, use it consciously to work forward. The principles are the same whether you are remembering the past or imagaining the future. Get comfortable and start with a small thought. Allow yourself time to really feel being there. Smell the flowers, the new leather, the fragrance of incense. Whatever your goal is, get involved with your senses. Taste the food, take in all the depth and color, texture and dimension.
If you are dreaming of a new home, see it in your mind. See the lawn, the driveway leading to the garage or parking area.
Park your car and walk to the door. See the door knob, the color of the door. Open it and walk inside. What color are your walls, what does the furniture look like?
Move through each room of your home adding details, lighting, wall hangings. Be as detailed in your imagination as you can.
As you allow yourself to link one thought to another the details will grow richer. The wonder of the law of attraction is that thoughts attract thoughts like themselves very quickly. The more time you spend playing with your thoughts, the richer your thought life becomes and the quicker it all comes your way.
Spending a few minutes several times each day will also allow you to move forward quicker.
Use the method above to fit your dreams and goals. Going through this process as you fall asleep is a powerful way to add these memories to your subconscious, remember, the mind doesn't know the difference between real and imagined.. so imagine your life the way you really want to experience it.
Before long you will be dreaming while awake and asleep and powerful creating your dreams in physically manifested form.
There are no set rules, just enjoy the process and practice often.
