Honor, the real measure of consertive and liberal

I'm an old guy that has been in both political parties. I worked in the campaign of John Fitzgerald Kennedy who I believe was and honorable man, veteran and basically a Conservative on tax issues. I am a Conservative and believe in low taxes and lower spending than this nation is doing. I was a democrat because my family was and that is how I started following politics. About the time of LBJ through Jimmy Carter the democrat party left me and my Conservative thinking. The crazy spending started with LBJ and continues to this day. Liberals attempt to explain away the spending in less than honorable ways and the democrats are losing or have lost any semblance of Conservative ways that were a part of the party at one time.

The financial chaos we are in is a prime example of honor and truth being set aside or completely abolished in the name of greed, power and control. Outright lies and a complete lack of looking at the reasons we are in this mess has swallowed up congress and the liars cover for one another in a complex cover up that includes personal destruction of people that try to tell the truth behind the financial chaos. People like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd have zero honor and blame anything and anyone except the actual facts that caused this collapse. The leaders of the House and Senate also have no recognition of honor and truth. Where is honor and responsibility? Where is the outrage of the American people and the politicians that are watching people be destroyed and fortunes lost by the American people? And yet these guys are still in congress and the liberals still back them, honor again can be damned.

We have two men running for the presidency, the most powerful political office in the world, and only one has honor. When one of them started his political career with ultra-liberal political groups, criminal terrorists, fanatical clergy and corrupt organizations can we expect honor? He has admitted that he did not know those people and groups as the fanatical liberals they are and he did not see any of there abhorrent behavior while he was there for sometimes 20 years? One organization that backs him is under investigation in 13 states for voter registration fraud, where is the honor in that? Any politician worth his salt will always know who and what group they are aligning with. They always know the power people and groups to associate with and that is why he chose Trinity and Ayers and the Daly political group, he is no dummy and he is not honorable.

Now for the other guy running, he is definitly honorable, upright and truthful. When offered a chance to leave as prisoner of war and get medical help and safety that was offered he declined because others had been held longer, that is honor. As an Admirals son he could have had preferential treatment but he stayed and that decision cost him dearly and may have almost killed him, the word honor barely describes that heroism. When he stood on the floor of the senate and opposed Fannie and Freddie that is courage in the face of over whelming odds and could have cost him his senate seat but his constituents know him. He does not go after earmarks and has been against flood of spending because he wants to watch the spending of our money.

Honor is the word that best describes a conservative and dishonorable best describes a liberal.
