and the money, yet not delivering on her as a leading actress at all. I expected them to play much more on the whole ghost/psychic aspect but it most definitely focused on the relationship between Ashley and Henry which was a bit predictable to be honest.

Another thing I felt that was really missing from the film was any real emotion throughout. Despite the fact there was a death right at that start, this is very quickly skipped over and now dwelled on at all, even by her fiance who seems to actually make a joke of it. Even the relationship between Henry and Ashley seemed void of any real passion or emotion, and sort of appeared out of nowhere. Because of this, character development in the film was incredibly limited and left us with one-dimensional characters who I ended up not caring about. They really missed a trick here, and this is really for me why the film fell flat. Also comedy wise it was very poor, with obvious jokes throughout not really working, even resorting to crude 'fart' jokes (the bane of my existence) and childish humour which just was so unfunny, it was ridiculous.

For a film that could have been quite fresh and entertaining, I found myself pleased when the end credits rolled and not at all satisfied with what I had just seen. I didn't laugh that much, Longoria Parker was very poor in her role and this is certainly not a role she will want to boast about. Rudd and Bell definitely put in better performances, but not enough to save this film unfortunately. It was okay to pass the time, crude in parts in fact and some childish humour but I don't think I'd recommend spending your hard earned cash on this one.
