Poetry: Mascara

by Teagan West

Created on: October 20, 2008

Mascara

The mess it makes

As i hang my head not wanting those words you say

But I couldn't let you

What you have done to me

Mascara

The black rivers down my face

As I watched you walk out the door

And as I sit there I wonder

If I had of let you see

The blackness on my face

Like that in my heart

Would you have stayed

Or left me
