To get to you I changed

Into something that just wasnt me

But I couldnt see the change

And everyone around disappeared

Because you were the only one I cared about

To get to you I lost myself

And became more like her

Everything you wanted but the opposite of me

So you pretended that you wanted me

But now I look at back and I dont know why

To get to you I got hurt

Because you only wanted someone just like her

And you never got to know me as myself

So in the end it didnt work

And all along you knew it wouldnt

But you still let me fall
