This is a difficult question to tackle because if you have studied our past at any length you know that history often views individuals and their legacy with a very different lens then we do in present time. So even though Bush has a low approval rating (although not as low as the present congress) and he is widely disliked now, in time he may be viewed as a great president that accomplished many things. Abraham Lincoln was openly hated by much of the country during the American Civil War, but in present time he is viewed as one of the best president we have ever had. In this same sense Bush could be viewed much differently given enough time. With this in mind however, Bush currently is a visionary that has brought the America through some of the most trying times since Vietnam.

Bush has dealt with 9/11, two wars, a collapsing economy (which was caused by Democrats) and a changing world order in which America has become the target of numerous terrorist organizations and been abandoned by previously friendly countries. George Bush has stayed strong and unflinching in his resolve to keep America safe. There has been no attacks since 9/11. This is largely because George Bush and America has taken the fight to the enemy. If terrorists could have attacked again, they would have, just like they are in allied countries. But they haven't, so it goes to show that they can't.

Bush has come out, said what needs to happen, and gone ahead and done the things he says. He has always stuck by his guns and never wavered, even against overwhelming criticism. Not many people can do this. He has shown courage and belief in his ideals. Something I cannot say for the present democratic presidential candidate. It is very admirable and shows a man with great character.

Iraq is now free from a terrible dictator. The Kurds in the North do not have to worry about more gas attacks, or senseless murder. The people can vote and have a say in their country now. It has been a long and drawn out war, but as victory nears, Bush's vision is coming into sight. Yes, Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction, but everyone thought they did, including Democrats; there was faulty intelligence. No matter which way you want to view it, it was not Bush's fault that the intelligence was bad. Iraq is poised to become a stable ally in the Middle East. An area of the world racked with poverty and in desperate need of freedom. Bush and America has now brought freedom to this country. By doing this Bush has
