Boredom didn't kill the radio star. But boredom certainly will kill any workout routine. Who really wants to work out on the same machines doing the same reps every day? It gets to be so very boring, that you lose all motivation to work out in the first place. It's very much like being married to the same person, and saying the same things and doing the same old things. It gets to be monotonous dull, boring, whatever you want to call it; you will be bored into not striving to be your very best.
That's why planning creative workouts prevents the stagnation of your workout. Here are the benefits of creating a versatile workout:
BOREDOM FACTOR
Just like being married to the same person for a long time, for the relationship to last you have to try different things. That's probably one of the reasons so many marriages end up in divorce because the two people get bored with each other. To keep that boredom factor down in a marriage the couple does different things, they mix in up, they get creative. While working out is a great thing to do for yourself, you have to get creative with it. Otherwise you will get bored and want to quit. It won't be challenging, interesting or stimulating enough anymore.
Strip dance classes are a new way to melt those extra pounds off that enhances any relationship. Join a dance class together and salsa, meringue, and samba your way to looking and feeling great and getting closer to your mate. You never know you may meet someone terrific during classes, and start an entirely new relationship. Workout with your partner by trying various exercises made for two. Vary your workout routine everyday. One day work out at the gym, the next day walk outside while lifting small weights. And the third day you can take a dance class.
OVERALL FITNESS
While working out to keep away the boredom factor, you also have to vary your routine so that you work different muscles. By working more than just the same muscle groups every day you are building over all fitness and stamina. Your muscles will get into better shape as well as your entire body. You will feel better than ever before and you will have a lot more energy and enthusiasm due to all those positive endorphins running through your body. By varying your workout routine you will also be working out different muscles, while allowing the muscles you re not utilizing some needed rest. This way you won't end up with a super big butt and great abs. You will be well toned all over.
BODY CRAVES ADVENTURE
By varying your exercise routine you will be crashing through the fitness barriers that arise every so often. You will be jumping over hurdles of fitness plateaus. When you have been working out for so long you suddenly stop losing weight. Even though you know you need to lose more weight, your body is not responding. That's why you need to vary your workout routine. Your body is craving new and adventurous ways to work off that weight. Your muscles are all muscled out; they can't gain anything by doing the same exercises anymore. That's why you have to try something new. It's just like being in a relationship, when your partner just wants to stay home and watch television every night, it's time to sign up for creative classes together, or make a date for a night out. Doing different exercises will stimulate those muscles, and your body into doing losing weight and getting into great shape.
Creativity is what keeps a great relationship great! Believe it or not, you have entered into a relationship of keeping your body looking and feeling great. By trying different fitness challenges, you will keep your mind interested and your body refreshed and revitalized.
