The most effective ways to prevent crow's-feet

Crow's-feet are the fine lines and wrinkles that appear around our eyes going outwards (looks like a real crow's foot). We can get crow's feet by just aging. We all get crow's feet as we age. We can choose to slow it down or we can just let them happen and treat it after the fact. We also get crow's feet from being out in the sun, squinting, smoking, sleeping on our face, etc.

The best way to slow down the development of crow's feet is to use sunscreen outside to avoid skin damage. You can quit smoking to avoid the wrinkles that develop from that. Wearing sunglasses, hats, or staying in the shade are all ways to avoid squinting. Applying wrinkle cream can slow down crow's feet because it keeps your skin from drying out as fast. Having a healthy diet with lots of foods with antioxidants (i.e. raspberries) and including drinking lots of water can slow down crow's feet.

One of the cheapest and best treatments for crow's-feet is over-the-counter wrinkle treatment creams that will reduce puffiness and fine lines. The cream may not fix wrinkles necessarily (no matter what the product claims), but will give your skin much needed moisture.

You may choose to go to a professional for treatment of your crow's feet. You can get collagen injections, laser treatment, Botox treatment, or many other options. Laser treatment tightens and smoothes up your skin. It can lead your face to be sensitive for a while and you'll be ordered to stay out of the sun. Collagen injections fill in our wrinkles to smooth out your face a little. Botox treatments were originally used in the arm pit area to stop celebrities from sweating so much, but also fill in wrinkles. Botox and collagen injections don't last very long.

Unfortunately, crow's feet are a reality for anyone as they age. The best thing to do is to eat right, protect your skin, and moisturize. Once you do get the crow's feet, you can treat it at home and if necessary go to a professional.
