Weight gain while pregnant

There are women they start to eat very much when they get pregnant. In many cases the situation gets out of control and they begin to gain much weight. They continue to do it even if the overeating causes stomach pain, discomfort, or digestion problems. It is a very big mistake that could cost them a lot.

The health of the baby doesn't depend on the quantity of food that the mother eats. But, the baby can born with diabet, obesity, or he may born premature.

This is a big risk for the child that may have healthy problems becouse of that and no advantage.

Important is the quality of the food and not the quantity. A pregnant woman should eat natural food only or as much as possible. So, she should eat: fruits, vegetables, slim meat, boiled eggs, milk, chease and no fat, not much oil, no butter no animal fat. She should eat fruits nut not many fruits, she should eat meat but not a lot of meat, milk and chease but not too much becouse it is not necessary.

A pregnant woman have to avoid conservants, junk food, sweets, instant food even they are very teasty. No woman can lose her baby if she wants to eat a cheasburger at 1 a.m. and she doesn't.

Too many pounds gained during the pregnancy can seriously affect the mother and the baby. 50 or 60 pounds gained are very hard to be lost after birth and not every woman can do it. And for the ones that do it take very long to recover, sometimes it takes years.

But, the most important is the baby really doesn't need this sacrifice. He only needs good, natural food but not much only 300 kalories per day (in the seventh, eight monthes). It is not necessary for a mother to eat for two. That is a waiste and a big risk for both.

Even with the relationship with the husband can turn into bad becouse of that. We have to admit that is very hard for a man to marry a 100-120 lbs woman then live with an 160-200 lbs one. Sometimes, some husbands don't accept it, and they wont even accept the explination: "I did it for our baby" or " I did it for your son". I think a woman have to try to keep her man close especialy when they have babies.

The best for a woman is to ask a doctor when she gets pregnant about what will she eat during the pregnancy, how many meals per day and follow the recomandations. No doctor in the world would recomand the overeating and no medical book would support it. There are plenty of medical books about the pregnant woman's nutrition and the doctors are always willing to imform if they are asked about it.
