I was about twelve years old and now I am forty-seven and still smoking and it is hard to stop! the things people do like exercise and run it is hard because when you ran you can't breath , shortness of breath it's like your killing yourself. When I exercise it makes me weak can't move the way a normal person should it has me dizzy and I sometimes can't walk long blocks or ran on my treadmills only for about 10 minute at a time. What do I do I stop for a while with sweat and stop to rest and light up another smoke while I rest. When I drink a glass of wine here comes the Newport Lights calling my name. On the box of cigarettes they tell you it's no good for your health but, do I listen no. Each day I pray to God that he will help me to cut back on smoking I buy maybe four or five packs a day and before the next week comes I am out of cigarettes and need to buy more. Let me ask you a question? how long has anyone smoke as long as I have? Now smoking to me around the house if I don't have a smoke early in the morning I find myself get upset with the whole family. It's like if I can't get a cigarette I can't get crack that's how bad I need to smoke a cigarette. Then the bad part about smoking is that I have High blood pressure and still smoking cigarette, isn't that crazy! It's sad for me but I am trying to stop! I told my boyfriend when we get married that would be the first thing I would do is too stop smoking. The day that I get married I will go cold turkey! but, you know that smoking is something hard to do. I don't want to kill myself and when you don't smoke all you can think of is food and that's not right because eating to much is unhealthy so what chooses do you really have? the three thing's that are bad for your health is eating, drinking and smoking so, tell me what is left to do? My doctor told me to stop smoking but, have I stop! no, I'm still huffing and buffing and coughing. I said that I would start next year a new year's resolution to diet and exercise a little more and to find something in place of a cigarette. We all have some type of addition, did you know in the year of 2000 that 1,220,000 individual was diagnosis ed with cancer in the United States. This means that 1,500 individual will die daily. 1 in 2 changes a man has and a woman has 1 in 3 chance of developing it.
