Ah, Webkinz. They are plush, furry little animals of all kinds; there are skunks, turtles, unicorns, dragons, cats, dogs, and so forth. There is literally an animal for every one of all likes. These adorable little cuddly animals are really quite cute. Then there is the accompanying website. This website is a child friendly as any website gets and the huge plus, it is very educational. Believe it or not, I too have Webkinz animals and a Webkinz account. Of course, my eight year old daughter has possession of the animals, but I have my own Webkinz account. I felt it was my duty as a parent to have one so that I could thoroughly explore what this website has to offer. There is a vast amount of good information tools to help your child as they grow. I will attempt to give you all of the examples as to just how wonderful Webkinz really are.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

On this website, a child learns how to earn money, how to spend money the correct way, if your child does not have enough money to buy a certain item, they have to earn it. There are numerous ways to earn Kinzcash. You can answer trivia questions from all age categories; you can work a Webkinz job and earn payment for your efforts. You can play games and enter tournaments. All of these things teach your child the value of a hard earned "kinzcash". I love this aspect of the Webkinz world. The trivia questions are extremely educational and deal with topics from all aspects. This website is a great learning tool for your child. There are arcade games for them to play as well, but they incorporate math and fundamental memory strengthening tools. For instance, there is a solitaire game that requires the child to add numbers to make eleven and you have to clear the board in a certain amount of time. I love this game and often use it to help keep my mind sharp and on top of things. I also answer trivia questions; play the memory games because as we all age, we often lose our edge to think quickly. There are "jobs" that your child can work, but they can only work one job every 8 hours. One of my favorite jobs is Kinzpost Sorter. You have boxes that are labeled with numbers and rows of empty spaces to place those boxes to add up to a required amount. If you do not complete the task, you do not get paid. This
