How to get rid of stains from candle wax

by Tn Fr0g

There are lots of ways to do this. You can take wax paper and an iron. Heat the iron on med , lay wax paper over the stain. Let all the wax that has gotten way down heat up and you will have to push really hard with the iron so that the wax paper will dip and conform into the stain. Any residue that remains after you have done this first step can be removed with soap and water and any regular cleaner that you would normally use. If you catch the wax before it dries , make sure that it had dries completely before you attempt to remove it in this fashion. To help you decrease this unfortunate event you can use candle plates underneath your candle holders and sconces. They come in many different styles. You can buy them almost anywhere. The Dollar Tree , The Dollar general , Walmart , Target , JC Penny , Sears , depending on your income and taste. You might also try the pottery shops and outlets.
