Poem: "I Believe"
I Believe
I believe in something much bigger than us that resides within and around us
...spiritual and magical
I believe in doing things for others, even without them knowing it was me
...and expect nothing in return
I believe in love
...enough said
I believe that when you really love someone, you give them what they want
...even if it's painful and breaks your heart
I believe in angels
...watching over my head
I believe that when you are lying in bed, alone and in fear
...they will come by your side and bestow upon thee the kiss of sweet dreams
I believe in soul mates
...some meant to thee wed
I believe there is someone out there that's you
...in another form of belief and love
I believe in faith
...a whom may vow in my stead
I believe faith is what pulls us through the daily strife of living
...oh, just one more day I pray
I believe in dreams
...as I lie awake in bed
I believe dreams are origins of life abound
...taking each moment with aspire
I believe in gratitude
...for all gifts bestowed
I believe "grateful" you can have, how little, how big
...faith, family, and, knowledge avail
And with all said with endure...I believe in me

I walked naked along the river
Barren branches reaching deep
into the Earth
Limbs holding "life"
