Meaning of Life

Why do we live?

Quite simply: we exist! We are a product of time and circumstance or situation. I do not believe in a God. I believe Jesus was simply a man like you and me. It says God created the world in 7 days - but those of you that believe in God now say that a day could be over millions of years. A day is a cycle of 24 hours - nothing else. A day does not exist in space. It seems to me that those believing in the Bible try to make the word 'fit' to modern day understanding - doesn't this prove that the Bible is a great fault? There are so many contradictions in the Bible - why do you think that is? It brainwashes people and distorts their OWN thinking, think for yourself - don't get false impressions or false hopes!

Why do we live? Should there really be a purpose? Could it just be that 'that's just the way it is'? We adapt to our surroundings, we adapt to the environment, we adapt with life. We are all part of a great energy - and that's all it is - not a God. Energy can change into a different energy - it adapts. Cause and effect.

What happened before you were conceived? Can't remember? Exactly! Because your brain did not exist - you had no memory. You did not exist. And when we die, it will be the same. If you believe in a soul that is unlimitless, then why would it want to occupy a limited body. It would be like tying your legs up so that you couldn't walk - what would be the purpose of that? Can a soul see? Then why can't a blind person see if he/she has a soul?

I could go on and on but I probably won't live long enough! Live your life now because you are alive now - you won't be when you are dead!

Hope this gets your brain to start thinking for itself - not what's written in some book.

Mark
