Meth Death
The billowing clouds of delusional fantasy
swirl around him as he twists his half truths
around a sharpened sword of lies and deceit

Intelligence is mottled and destroyed as his mind
begins to melt into panic-stricken hallucinations
of suicide and hopeless abandonment

Forsaken by his violent behavior
he creates euphoric sexual relationships
with faceless women living outside of his reach

Guns and drugs mingle fear and hatred
to ensure the final step is made into insanity
killing him with a sharp pain to the heart

Was it a bullet or the final moment when his soul exited?
leaving a shell of mindless insomnia and
echoing nothing less than a blood curdling scream of agony

No aid for his wickedness and corruption
but the sleepless dreams of her tenderness
stroking him gently with her love

One more sigh and his blackened heart ticks a final time
the tear that runs along his cheek
dries as a streak of blood red fury
